1. If you have already subscribed for the 2018-2019 season but your family is relocated from Singapore prior to 1 August 2018, all fees (registration, membership and league fees) paid for the season will be reimbursed. Once the season starts, fees are not refundable.
  2. Participation in Bukit Timah Juniors FC is based on ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP. Players pay a one-time registration fee (1 per family) at first sign-up for the season and must maintain their training membership in good standing throughout the period. Failure to maintain membership in a timely manner will forfeit registration and league participation. Members who forfeit their status by allowing membership to lapse thru non-payment at the beginning of a term will have to re-register for the program and for league participation. Members who are not in active-status will not be able to participate in Bukit Timah Juior FC activities until their status is (re)activated.
  3. Training fees will not be reimbursed for non-attendance. Players can attend core training sessions at any session within the term. For no reason, other than relocation as stated above, will any fees for registration, or core/specialty training sessions be reimbursed. Fees are for the specific player and cannot be transferred to another player. Fees paid for a specific specialty course may not be transferred to another specialty course. In all cases, all members must pay the Annual Registration Fee (1 per family) in full prior to any activities (except the no-obligation trial) and must sign all forms required. Annual Registration fees are valid for the period 1 September to 31 August and cannot be pro-rated.
  4. By submitting an application for membership, I undertake to consent to myself/my child/my ward  taking part in any Bukit Timah Juniors FC activity organized by the Bukit Timah Juniors Pte Lte (BTJ), The Merlion Sports City (MSC), and The Cage Sports Park/WWTBF Pte Ltd (CSP), and other facilities at which BTJ might undertake to conduct activities. I understand that BTJ, MSC, CSP and their staff are not liable in any way whatsoever for any injury, accident, loss, damage or theft sustained by the member while taking part in any activities organized by BTJ, MSC and CSP.
  5. All players must be accompanied by a parent or responsible guardian at all times during any and all BTJ, MSC and CSP soccer competition matches or training. Compliance is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/ward of the player and not the responsibility of BTJ.
  6. Membership is subject to the Rules of BTJ as are from time to time in force and which may be amended by the management at any time.
  7. The management of BTJ reserves the right to reject an application for membership for any reason whatsoever.
  8. The management of BTJ reserves the right to amend session times and venues for reasons of lack of minimum numbers of players for a session (usually 8) or changes in availablility and/or terms of venue, or for any other reason, such as but not limited to capacity, utilization, etc. In all cases, at least 2 alternative times/venues will be proposed to the participant.
  9. Membership is personal to the specific Player and is non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
  10. Membership is implied to be on a full year basis (eg 1/9/18 to 31/8/19). Written notice must be received by BTJ at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the subsequent term in order to downgrade membership level or in order for the current term to be considered the last term of dues billing. Failure to comply will result in one more billing cycle (one more term) before adjustment of membership level or termination of membership, including any additional fees incurred in the process of collection.
  11. The parent/guardian/member warrants and represents that the member is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or other reason why, other than those reasons specifically disclosed in writing to the management of BTJ, he or she is not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort or physical condition.
  12. The management of BTJ may terminate the membership of any member, without notice or compensation, and with immediate effect, if the member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another member, is such that in the reasonable opinion of the management, it may be injurious to other members or injurious to the character or interests of BTJ. A member whose membership is terminated by the management shall forfeit all the privileges of Membership with immediate effect without claim for any refund of his/her registration fee/, league fee, or term membership fees.
  13. Dress Code: All members are required to wear the current season’s dress of Bukit Timah Juniors FC for training and competitive activities on the pitch. With regards to jerseys, shorts, socks and other training-wear, only the manufacturer ADIDAS logo may be seen (generic clothing with no logo may be worn). On jerseys, shorts, socks with a Club logo, only the Club logo of Bukit Timah Juniors FC may be worn. No other manufacturer, Club or National logos may be displayed.
  14. BTJ will from time to time allow potential members to use the BTJ facilities on a single trial basis and reserves the right to do so.
  15. By registering with BTJ, you hereby assign and transfer, free of charge, to BTJ, and to their assigns, the right to use filmed or photographic images of yourself/your child within the video clips or print-outs having information or advertising purpose in relation to BTJ activities. You further authorize BTJ herewith to use or broadcast the above-said images of your child, without any limit of time and broadcasting, worldwide, via the TV, wireless, wired, via satellite, in any context, and through all the media currently known or invented in the future (including the Internet and/or other telematic networks and/or audio/visual media of any type), provided that the rights relative to your child’s honour and reputation are, in any and all cases, respected. The above represents, of course, an option and not an obligation to your charge. You further declare that both your child and yourself will not have anything to claim from BTJ and/or BTJ’s assigns, for any title and for any reason whatsoever, in consideration of the use on BTJ’s part and/or on the part of BTJ’s assigns of the above-said filmings and photos and consequently the use of your child’s image, name and voice.
  16. By registering with BTJ, you recognize that the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) came into full effect from 2 July 2014 by the Government of Singapore to regulate the processing of an individual’s Personal Data by organizations. BTJ is engaged in providing services under the name of Bukit Timah Juniors FC. In the course of providing our services, we may receive or have access to the personal data relating to you/your child(ren) when you register your child(ren) for our training courses, teams or other programs. In order for us to provide proper duty of care in executing our services, you must provide your personal data requested herein for the purposes of verification, providing you with the appropriate services, and to contact you accordingly in the execution of our services. We shall not use your personal data for any other purposes other than those stated herein. We do not share your personal data with any other parties other than if requested by the Football Association of Singapore, or FIFA or their representative Football Federations/Associations for the purpose of verification, auditing, or as may be permitted by law. We may retain the said Personal Data for ONE (1) YEAR only from the date of submission. You may, at any time hereafter, make inquiries, request for access to, or correction of, your Personal Data, or limit the processing of your Personal Data by submitting such request to our email address info@milansoccerschool.com.sg. You hereby agree, pursuant to the PDPA, to have consented to BTJ to allow the processing of your personal data for the intended purposes herein.
  17. INJURY/ILLNESS: Long term physical injury (more than 2 months) sustained during BTJ activities will be discussed separately. Onset of chronic illness, such as cardio/respiratory conditions, for which a written medical opinion is issued which restricts the player from sports activities, will also be discussed separately. Only in these two cases may a member be granted leave or premature termination of membership. Injuries sustained in other activities which are not related to BTJ activities cannot be considered for injury leave.
  18. The failure of the management of BTJ to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
  19. These Rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and subjected to the jurisdiction of the Judiciary of Singapore.
